We are celebrating the 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of Don’t Let Daddy Know! What a magical journey it has been all around the world. With over 1 million visitors and more than 20 countries, we would like to thank you for being part of the #DLDK family!

We are so excited to announce our next international shows very soon. What was your ultimate highlight? Watch the video below!

The departure of co-founder Essam Jansen

Essam Jansen, co-owner of one of the leading dance event organizations from the Netherlands, E&A Events, is leaving the company after 14 years of service. Co-founder and owner Alex Hes purchased the shares of Jansen, making him 100% owner of E&A Events. Hes will take on the management of E&A Events together with general manager Rik Sietzema. Jansen leaves to focus more on his DJ career as Sem Vox.

Since the start in May 2008, E&A Events has developed itself into an international event organization in the live entertainment circuit and introduced popular events including Don’t Let Daddy Know, Kingsland Festival, TIKTAK, Parels van de Stad, Summerpark and Valhalla Festival. In addition, the company is engaged in the production of shows for world known DJ’s and entertainers like Martin Garrix, Don Diablo and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. E&A Events is responsible for more than 85 events per year with hundreds of thousands of visitors in 20 different countries around the world.

From club night to international success

Hes (1990) and Jansen (1989) started organizing club nights in Amsterdam 14 years ago at the age of 18 and quickly expanded these nights to more than 200 club events across multiple cities in the Netherlands. Their next move was creating event concepts for every music genre possible. The national success led to an international breakthrough in 2012 when the Don’t Let Daddy Know show premiered in Ibiza. At this moment the event is organized in more than 20 countries internationally including Hong Kong and India, the UK and Chile to name a few.

Hes: “We are grateful for the successful collaboration with Essam for the last 14 years. We wish him all the best regarding his next step and his DJ career. As a company we are looking forward to all the beautiful shows and interesting line-ups we have planned for this year. Besides that, we will expand to over five new countries next year with Don’t Let Daddy Know and also launch new brands in the near future.”
